Tributes to Miss Deacon

Miss Joyce Deacon has been for thirty two years, a much loved teacher, interesting rally leader, piano or guitar teacher, a good story teller at Prayers, the spear head of many exciting class outings and activities, the force behind much of what was great about Sakeji, and a caring spiritual mentor, whose influence has lasted for many years. Sakeji's much beloved Miss Deacon is retiring from the school at the end of 2004, and she will be truly missed.

What we would like is for as many of her former pupils as possible, to send in their memories and tributes to her, so that these can be collected into a book.
